Enthousiast. I remember that I have a 11 years old laptop running Windows 10 in MBR Mode.OK. When I tried to install Windows 11, it said that I couldn´t run Win 11 in MBR mode, just GPT. OK. I formated my HDD and converted to GPT. Than, the installation worked. My Desktop is newer than my old Laptop and thought that I had to use the same way. Formatted my HDD to GPT and nothing. Same message from Rufus. So, I changed in Rufus to MBR and installed. But I read that I can install in UEFI or MBR. Strange
The fixes circumvent/bypass the new win 11 system requirement checks so you can simply install it on old Legacy BIOS/MBR only systems.
You should just get into the habit of using sc.exe at all times, so it works either way - the conflict in ps is with set-content alias sc Tho the ps command is not the same as using the GUI to toggle ntfs indexing off.
I also had this SAME ISSUE ((5-8% cpu for search & it never stop for 2 + days with nothing else running))... (older laptop with i3 -200 series intel pro +win11 Pro- build22000.78) Thanks for this CODE, worked nicely.
