    That's interesting. Thanks Abbodi.

    Unfortunately playing with recovery builds with Acronis or Macrium has been a headache because for some reason I can't seem to explain. if I rollback to previous build, all my OneDrive files are blocked. I have to break link, delete files and start from scratch 300GB
    Quite the pain. Never happened before 22h2 test runs. :rolleyes:

    Any ideas?

    I am confused about the versions. I just re-installed Windows11 with the esd from here: Windows 11 ESD Repository | My Digital Life Forums

    And used version 22H2, so right now I am on build 22621.232. Is this the correct official build? I dont want to be an insider or beta tester or anything. Just a regular user.

    Or do I have to download 21H2?

    Thanks!

    It's the upcoming 22H2 release of win 11, it's designated to be insider for a month or so.

    The current official Win 11 21H2 = 22000.xxx, the subject of this thread.

    So better go with 21H2 and wait till I get 22H2 through WU? Or is it still safe to go with 22621? (Sorry for asking in this thread)

    It's up to you, many already run 22621 or even 22622 (just a EP bump) but the safest choice would be to run 22000.xxx for now.

    If you are on 22000.XXX, you will find 22621 (22H2) listed on Windows Update as an Optional Update

    My own script not detect windows correctly, and why it happen bellow:

    Windows 11 Pro 21H2 (22000.832):

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion
    ProductName = Windows 10 Pro

    A year has passed, and this has not been fixed. It should be?

    Because the base 22000.1 has Windows 10 Settings, so it's half Windows 10 half Windows 11.
