Mate as far as my little knowledge goes, install the latest iso from the USB stick, and when u come to the wifi page, select dont have wifi. Keep saying u dont have wifi and it will then ask you to create a Local account. Put in or dont ur password, answer 3 security questions and install the OS. Then after it installs, connect wifi etc. Only thing is ur apps and something else (dont remember) wont sync and u cant i think adjust themes etc without MS account. But apart from that all works well. Hope this helps.
You don't get that option don't have wifi. If you guys would google installing windows 11 latest it will tell you have to sign in to a Microsoft account. Yes there seem to be a work around it mention what do you mean press one more. I get the cmd scrren but once there it cuts off my keyboard and it doesn't matter how many keyboards I try.
The latest windows 11 doesn't give you don't have wifi option, there seem to be a work around it mention by Paul 7675 post but it seem not to be a lock prove solution since it doesn't allow me to do such. If you google install the latest windows 11 version it mention you need to sign in with a Microsoft account before you can even think about installing. And, I'm kinda surprised a site like this seem not to know what I am talking about. I figure if any site would know would be this site
@dude905 this site knows what you are talking about and peeps have given you a solution/workaround of it. Anyhow, check the link below for the hashes posted a while back that pertains to a specific iso and build. You'll have to make sure that the hashes generated from the downloaded iso you have matches. ^ I hate to ask "a stupid question", but messing with computers since DOS 2.0 doesn't mean I'm good with the latest stuff. SO much information here, and endless acronyms. It's deep-end stuff, when I'm just after step 1. "If i walk into a London, UK shop & buy the latest Windows 11 Pro.... what link here is the equiv, please?"
Thanks to you both. I suppose the follow-up question is: If I can download direct from Microsoft, without needing a license... then why all the 100's of links here? If it's covered in a simple FAQ, please just ignore me. I've missed it.
Microsoft free download is for consumer ISO only, and it's does not get updated except 2 or 3 times My Visual Studio offer Business ISO & Consumer ISO, updated almost monthly
