jeez....even on an Intel ATOM ( toshiba Click10 64gb 4gb-DDR3) it took 30min...tops..to install i dont think ive ever had a intstall take that long....since........ oh before you were born....win95...its seems...been so long... after switching to win10 ioT.....stuff seems to run better..... i think home / pro and enterprise are crap.......
IoT Enterprise = Enterprise, so no difference there. You're posting in the win 11 22H2 thread, are your sure you are talking about 22000? Installing most windows builds will just take 5-10min tops, depending on the hardware specs.
Don't allow Windows setup to check for and download updates while installing. That can really slow things down. Install whatever you have, and then update it later.

Yep, as far as msft concerns no 22000 ISOs anymore, less work for me nah, they now release 22H2 and 23H2 226x1 ISOs
Hey, sorry if this is a wrong place to ask. I had plans to switch from win 10 to win11. Is there a "guide on how to setup win11" somewhere? (disable all telemetry etc.)
Was right in front of ya before ya clicked into this thread https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...s-11-media-with-automatic-bypass.84168/unread
yes. mainly coz of build 22000 for Home & Pro being EOL in October 2023 while education & enterprise editions get support until October 2024 you will have to build/create your own 22000.x iso using uupdump if using Oct 2023 or newer CUs for 22000
and disconnect from the internet during setup. I never allow any open internet connections while running Windows setup. NEVER! I always run Windows setup without internet (aka. "offline" install)
Is there a way to continue to let the Pro version receive updates for the next year after 22000 Home EOF?
