It all make sense to me. For the last decade they were poised on transforming Windows into this touch-first and cloud-first OS. They just took Windows 10X, added legacy support, and rebranded it Windows 11.
every since sun valley they were working on this to make it Win 11 was enjoying it for awhile to many bugs comes in play after awhile i don't think there be to many more builds maybe 3 to 4 hopefully we get this a finale release a month earlier so called to be released October 2021
if they release it in October as RTM considering all the current lack of features, it will be like another Windows 8.
I'm not seeing reports of drastic bugs. People are complaining about the unfamiliarity of the GUI, but except for some Canon printer driver issues and the blank widgets pane on some devices, there are no real bugs, per se. No one has reported that they lost their data, at least no one who has done a clean install (upgrading is buggy, yes, but that has always been the case when a new OS is launched, and that too is likely to improve over the next 3 months or so before the RTM.
Has anyone had any luck running vmware on the dev build of win 11? I get the black screen of death when I try and start a vm. It doesnt even dump the memory after the crash
win 11 does remind me of 8 with some of the features like the start menu and very confusing navigation I think a lot will remain on win 10
