Had the same problem when I used the iso found widely when windows 11 was released, for a fresh install. Even upgrading Win 10 through insider preview, vpn's did not work properly. But when I downloaded the uupdump iso of 22000.65, and 'clean-installed' , the vpn's worked, though the defender seems to have a problem. Anyway, I had a subscription to Norton 360 which I installed, Regards
Defender automatic sample submission getting disabled on every boot is a known issue listed by Microsoft and will be fixed in upcoming builds.
1- most of VPNs does not work properly, or does not work at all Anyone using Nordvpn:- a temporary fix ( from another member) for win 10 fast insider and win 11 is to uninstall just the Nord "tap" file, then reboot and re-install Nordvpn again and it works. BUT win 10 (fast insider) and win 11 doesn't remember what you have done so when rebooting you are back to square one.
Until w10 (fast insider) and win 11 or Nordvpn fix this problem I've being looking at a free VPN and Proton VPN works....but free is limited to about 3 countries and living in the UK dunno how being connected to the Netherlands would affect me.
My wifi/Internet icon dissappered from taskber ...how to restore it ,someone please ,,, its showing in overflow menu when we click on battery sound icon space
Is anyone having trouble with "Apps" switching back to Light theme of their own accord sometimes, even though the taskbar remains on Dark?
Did you bother to read my previous reply? Go to the taskbar proprieties and choose what system icon you want to be visible
See @acer-5100 post above, is it listed in: Settings > Personalisation > Taskbar > Taskbar Corner Overflow Update: If all of those icons in your overflow area are available in the above setting, have you tried temporarily disabling some of them, does the network/wi-fi icon appear then?
With information coming from YouTubers and online Windows enthusiasts the script used for UUP has an embedded link that is not coming from Microsoft but it all looks like it is coming from Microsoft but from Russia. That seems to be the argument with most of them regarding the safety of the UUP. With what has been said here there is nothing to be skeptical of regarding the safety of the UUWP files. It all depends on you and where you want to use them. Most people would likely install the Windows 11 Preview on their virtual system rather than the main and wait for the final Build.
I did but seems u didn bother to read my reply View attachment 55668 I will not post silly drag n drop issue in mdl There is no such option for Internet icons,, its not even taskbar corner options
WIFI is a SYSTEM icon, there is a separate setting pane for them!!! Go UP one level from your screenshot and choose the correct one
Ah, youtubers. That last bastion of high quality journalism and research... Oh no I didn't mean that did I? Screaming morons vomiting the latest conspiracy nonsense they heard from another screaming moron. That's what I meant.
