Why since Windows 10, the fonts are not sharp anymore? In the Windows 10 settings app they look kinda blurried and without anti-aliasing, and now same thing with Windows 11 settings app. With dark theme this goes away, but I don't want to be forced to use the dark theme. Maybe M$ thinks we all have 4k monitors? So they don't care about the fonts? PS: Not only in the settings app but the start menu too. PS²: You know what, I think it's the whole system lmao PS³: No, it is only the settings app, the start menu and the taskbar.
Microsoft reads the input from F hub and not reading posts scattered all over the web. I don't report feedback since there is plenty more experienced people than me, but the whining here is mostly unjustified and useless(not talking about you(
Same here, I don't use Chromium Edge browser due to the massively oversized line spacing in the bookmarks drop down, mind you the bookmarks manager needs some work too IMO.
What you call "whining" may also just be ppl commenting upon differences they're noticing in successive builds, which is appropriate in a thread titled ([DISCUSSION] Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22000.xxx). As for going back to stable Win 10, I'd guess there aren't many running this as main OS, most likely in VM's or on spare boxes.
You might be right but I use W11 as my primary OS without issues from day 1, and if those people whine about an OS they're running on VM's that's just silly IMO.. why care so much for VM OS especially when its on DEV is out of my understanding
What is your scaling, is it 100%? Spare SSD drive, I love my flexible desktop. Has anyone reported the right click context menu? Or double clicking is not a bug but a feature? I can't edit a text document with a right click. This is an epic fail in my book. Or merge a reg file. Maaan, this is too much. Build 51 had all of that. /sarcasm
Before update my main machine from win 10, i made a system image with the good old "windows 7 security backup" just in case something goes horribly wrong surpriseingly it still remain in win 11...
Considering how widely disliked the new context menu system seemed to be, surely they would have started to implement changes by now - but seems not. And I've only just noticed that while you have to extra click for More Options, .jpg has silly things like Rotate Left/Right in the main context menu - really!?
Does anyone know how to open the old ribbon explorer? I remember there was a command, something like "explorer.exe /e {some-guid}" besides the "Launch windows in separate processes" 'hack' that does not work anymore as of 22000.71. Thanks.
Good catch, indeed this is weird. No consistency at all. Well, hopefully this will get fixed in the future builds.
