    WEI is no longer necessary. Not only the reasons for its existence have changed (DWM is now always used, Desktop Games are no more, officially), but also the minimum System Requirements are now at a level where any System that would give sucky performance can not run Windows 8.1 at all.

    It Still There in windows folder needed mce Digital Cable Advisor for cable card setup not shown any more

    anyone know why official ISO has old SHA1 (8BED436F0959E7120A44BF7C29FF0AA962BDEFC9)? i tried google "8BED436F0959E7120A44BF7C29FF0AA962BDEFC9" this build is exist from 1-june old.

    Try it, nothing to lose. May you'll need to call MS?! Read several times already that in most cases it was just working and activating!
