    No one told the opposite. But it´s good to know that the KMS protocol wasn´t updated to new version so far.

    Keep in mind that some here preparing their emulators and tools.

    I haven't been back on here in some time. Posted some interesting results I saw from slmgr.vbs -dlv check on the Preview with some tweaking I did. I suppose I could get back in the game for doing some activation bypassing here and there.

    PS the test build of StartIsBack is funky on 8.1.

    the tool by alphaware,Windows download integrator 3.5 does not work on 8.1, I convert PRO to wmc and it didn't work :negative:

    What did you try there :eek:. I would guess that this is not supported atm. What did you expect?

    Windows 8.1 pro image can be converted to wmc as long as you do the process with dism in 8.1 and not windows 8 it fails for some reason!! but you can upgrade pro image to wmc via dism while doing the process in 8.1

    Where's the SKU files for this? As I've been doing some DISM stuff on the 8.1 image...

    You ever try to change the SKU to Server Standard the results are amusing...

    The sku's for prowmc come after converting the pro image to wmc..

    Every KMS Tool using 127.0.0.2 will work, where 127.0.0.1 is refused, seems hardcoded like for Office 2013 on Win 7.

    Did you try doing this from within an actual Win 8.1 Preview install or from Win 8?
