Cracking an alpha release, that is even free so far...you definitly must be kidding (not to mention the bad idea to talk about this here!). Tihiy did an amazing job with this . And he´s only charging 1 to 3 $ for it .
Some drivers didn't work and are not supported in Windows 8.1 Preview, yet! May you could try to set the Driver in Compatibility mode Windows 7. It's may not work but worth a try!

Hi guys, some help needed here. I am on windows 8.1 pro preview with media center 64 bit (upgraded from windows 8 with media center). My windows defender is not starting ,when press start on the gui, it says the service can not be started with error 0x800106ba. I have tried opening the service from services.msc as administrator where it says the service has stopped but when I restart it ,it remains started for a couple of seconds and then stops again. Windows defender updates also fail to install with error 80070005. My windows is activated. Looked about it on google ,but that's just about restarting the service which in my case does not happens. Please advise how to rectify this. Thanks in advance.
