yep, it must have to do with screen resolution because I run preview on VM at a pretty low rate and it allows 2 snaps only
useless to talk about any kind of resolution without official data from MS. Perhaps someone has a white paper for it
For 64-bit installations of Windows 8.1 Preview, your CPU must also support CMPXCHG16b, PrefetchW and LAHF/SAHF. My CPU is an Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor E7500 (3M Cache, 2.93 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB) and I have no freaking idea about CMPXCHG16b, PrefetchW and LAHF/SAHF. Will I be able to install Windows 8.1 x64 on my PC?
Your CPU supports CMPXCHG16b, and I don't think your CPU is so early of an Intel x64 chip to worry about not having LAHF/SAHF. The only thing I see that it doesn't support is PrefetchW and that is for AMD until Intel adds support, and Win8.1 should run without PrefetchW anyway.
Er......?? there should be at lest 2 typo: Windows 7 with Service Pack and Windows 8 with Service Pack 1 While I may could understand that some may classifying Windows 8.1 as Windows 8 with Service Pack 1!!
There a lot Apps out there which could be used for to get the infos beside of the Manufacturer! Check with Everest, Belarc Adviser, SIS Sandra, just to name a few!
