Open the Control Panel, click Ease of Access, click Ease of Access Center, and then click Use the computer without a mouse or keyboard. Untick Use On-Screen keyboard
Search settings with "osk" alternatively...try this services.msc Double click on Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service. In Startup type -> to disabled. Click stop service.

Did you install the machine specific graphic driver for your PC or do you use the one that came with windows?
seems to be a graphics driver problem. if you uninstall the Intel Graphic driver and use the MS inbox one, you'll have 6 apps in a row. I'm still waiting for a new driver to fix it.
Is it possible to use metro in Administrator account? I used the tweak from here: h t t p://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/46105-Windows-8-1-Registry-Tweaks but then it disable the admin premissions
