You don't have to scan in your data to start the car.

I do, its a James Bond car, it uses my biometric retina and fingerprint data to personally ID me, send my details to the Bond villain in the cloud, then finally open the door

The keys on the table are just a diversion for would be thieves

I'm downloading the 64bit version right now.

Question: Has anybody upgraded an Win2Go USB 3.0 HDD with Windows 8 Enterprise to Windows 8.1 Enterprise yet?

I've an virgin Win2Go Acer 500GB USB 3.0 HDD as spare in the draw and would like to upgrade that one for testing purpose.

    Thanks for any info.

OK, as it seems to be that nobody knows any answer, I/d started to create a new Master HDD with Windows .1 Enterprise Preview and after that is done I'll try to upgrade, if not possible to install a new W2G with 8.1 Enterprise.

To late already and it wasn't working, had checked that already. That error Message was from exactly that stage!

Had created an new Master HDD with Windows 8.1 Enterprise Preview, no apps installed yet, just done the Updates. Those Updates were 10 files with an size of 107MB completely.

After that I created a new Windows 8.1 Enterprise Preview W2Go drfive and also done just the Updates, which on installing now. This time that's 20 Files with an size of 474MB in total.

The same USB Stick used for both installation, difference only, I started the Windows to Go from Control Panel of the normal Windows 8.1 Enterprise Preview. Why that huge difference in Updates?

Does it matter? Windows 8.1 has brand new magic that will finally stop WinSxS to grow several GB overtime because of updates.

Windows applies "dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup" automaticly once a month or so.

To save some more space you can do "dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup /resetbase", but this will make it impossible to uninstall any Updates you installed before, as it will merge the updates with the System.
Also there is finally a command to see how big the component store is, "dism /online /cleanup-image /analyzecomponentstore"

These features should have been part of Windows since Vista :( Only thanks to mobile and space restrictions Windows is currently facing did they add these.

It may be in the process of installing and can't be completed without restart .. So restart and report back but start a new thread :D
