Yep, after some testing it seems to be the big 355 KB, after integrating you'll get the pending error . For that reason i did completely in Audit Mode . Interestingly no problems to integrate into boot.wim and wimre.wim.
Wasn't talking about the size, but about windows8.1-kb2919355-x64.msu . Not sure, normally this updates needs reboot to implement all changes properly. Apparently you can't do that for the mounted WIM . Searching for a solution likewise.
When testing with this command the Image version showed still 16384 after integrating windows8.1-kb2919355-x64.msu, instead of 17031, what is shown when doing without /PreventPending. There is also: Code: DISM.exe /Image:C:\test\offline /Cleanup-Image /RevertPendingActions But with that warning: Code: WARNING! You should use the /RevertPendingActions option only in a system-recovery scenario to perform recovery operations on a Windows image that did not boot. It will also set the Image back to 16384 .
Do I really have to explain this again OEMs got the update packages first and the ISOs later, the document where you got that doesn't apply to MSDN or GA!!!
oh, there is no puzzle: //build/ is known about new versions to issue just because of the event. New files are expected latest by tomorrow April 2nd on some channels
