Guys has anyone tried to run a dism /online /cleanup-image /retorehealth today ? After I updated, when the spring update leaked, it stopped working with error 0x800f081f I thought it was because the files needed were missing form MS servers since the update wasn't official yet so I tried it again today and it still doesn't work
Why should one try this when there is nothing to restore. So far i only used this in case sfc couldn't repair all errors. Still working here: Code: ███████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ COMPONENT STORE HEALTH RESTORE ONLINE ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Tool zur Imageverwaltung für die Bereitstellung Version: 6.3.9600.17031 Abbildversion: 6.3.9600.17031 [==========================100.0%==========================] Der Wiederherstellungsvorgang wurde abgeschlossen. hype once the "average" user gets the so called update odds are they won't even notice much of a difference other then silly store icon on taskbar no new start menu will be big letdown after all the hype
Everything's been released to WSUS except the "8.1 Spring 2014" updates. I wonder why they are holding back?
So I downloaded these files in two different sites: 1- Neowin.#et 2- Microsoft.#om Does anybody know what is going on? In reviewing them, and downloaded from the two sites. These three files are listed on one, but not on the other(vice versa) Neowin kb2919355 kb2919442 (THIS) kb2939087 (THIS) kb2932046 kb2937592 kb2938439 Microsoft File Name Size Windows8.1-KB2919355-x64.msu 690.8 MB Windows8.1-KB2932046-x64.msu 48.0 MB Windows8.1-KB2934018-x64.msu (THIS) 126.4 MB Windows8.1-KB2937592-x64.msu 303 KB Windows8.1-KB2938439-x64.msu
If the old RTM updates (6.3.9600.17031) were installed before, KB2919355 is offered again (as well as KB2939087) and is 123mb in size. On a vanilla Windows 8.1 without the leaked updates both updates are offered as well, but KB2919355 is a 888mb download and takes significantly longer to install. Either way, running WU and installing all important updates results in Windows 6.3.9600.17041 - which is the real, fullly final, RTW build of Windows 8.1 Update 1.
