Use mega's download method, not a jdownloader or megadownloader program

the members are complaining that after update they had some problems. I think the iso with update is more stable!

if it doesn't come from WU no need for it. IMO

unless a specific bug needs squished that a hotfix fixes that isnt pushed in WU

I'll upload the contents soon, but the upload is queued after the remaining localized ISOs (14 of them), it'll be uploaded tomorrow or maybe tuesday.
It's a RAR5 archive, maybe that's why it always fails for you, you need the latest version of WinRAR!

    off-topic: 600th post, woohoo!:mauridia:

I stand correct, 2932046 resources are included also

so, only 2937592, 2938439 needs to be reapplied after LP and the above LIP

Sorry I'm a little confused now. Earlier you sad that the LIP also doesn't include the resources in KB2934018, so KB2934018 also needs to be reapplied. Now you say that KB2934018 doesn't need to be reapplied?

    Let's try and clarify this.

To completely avoid any misunderstanding, as far as I'm concerned:
    1) KB2919442 is a strict prerequisite of Windows 8.1 Update
    2) KB2939087 is an optional prerequisite of Windows 8.1 Update, which doesn't normally need to be installed, only if KB2919355 gives an error message during installation.
    3) Windows 8.1 Update itself consists of: KB2919355, KB2932046, KB2937592, KB2938439 and KB2934018

Let's say I want to install an additional language pack on Windows 8.1 with Update. The way I understand it, the correct installation order would be:
    1) Windows 8.1 with Update ISO
    2) Language pack of choice
    3) LIP update of choice
    4) KB2937592, KB2938439, KB2934018

In contrast, if starting from Windows 8.1 RTM, the correct order would be:
    1) Windows 8.1 RTM ISO
    2) Language pack of choice
    3) KB2919442,( KB2939087,) KB2919355, KB2932046, KB2937592, KB2938439, KB2934018

    Did I get everything right?

PS: I consider KB2934018 to be part of the Windows 8.1 Update, because if it's not installed, then Windows Update will re-offer KB2919355 (the container update for all updates) and download approximately 125 Mb.

kelorgo, the best way is to follow the MS instruction papers to the OEM's(it's in my LP-patch post).:D

Yes, all steps order is correct :)

when i said that 2934018 doesn't need to be reapplied, i only ment that it's not an installed package in Update ISO, therefore it can be treated like any other non-existence update
but yes, to have full Windows 8.1 MUI ISO with Update, it needed to be "applied" for first and one time after Language pack

I read that. It does not say anything about any updates having to be reinstalled after installing the LIP update. Nor does the Technet article on the topic. Which is why I am discussing the real, correct order with abbodi.

(What, an MS instruction document doesn't contain all the necessary steps? What a surprise... :D)

    Hello,

if it ain't too much trouble and time consuming for you, would you mind posting a list of dism commands to service an 8.1u1 iso with an extra language (ex. dunno German or whatever), the "right" way?
