    Thanks for the info. They do indeed differ, but I have no idea how to get any useful info out of them, how do you extract info from it?

    usually does lol

    sometimes I think there is a hiccup either at HDD or mem during the I/O that corrupts things on a rare occasion (unless it continues to happen, then its something else obviously).

    Yeah, looks like it.

    But on the other hand the 8.1-Install lasted much longer than my 7-Install's on average.

    What Difference Build 17041 In Registry?
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion (9600.17041.amd64fre.winblue_gdr.140305-1710)
    And Build 17031 in DISM.exe? 6.3.9600.17031? o_O

    Different files have different build strings :cool2:. WADK tools dism even has still 17029.

    After all updates BuildLabEx should show:

    Now is the Last Day of Support Update Windows 8.1 So for you who have not done the update KB2919355 immediately, to get an update from MS for June Patch :D
