Yes, calling it Windows 8.1 update 1 is kinda stupid, it's hardly the first update for Windows 8.1 . It's a service pack, why not just call it as such? Windows 8.1 SP1? (or realistically, Windows 8 SP2 ).
Windows 8.11 For Workgroups ....... brings back good old memories. Nah, 8.1 got a RTM no. 9600, if there was a 8.2, according to MS naming habit, it should have a RTM no. of 10000 or 10400, no way.
If they called it Windows 8.1 SP1 so not to confuse people with the 'update 1' label, the version number would be 9601.
Did anyone notice the fact that a Windows 7 upgrade path to CoreConnected (and on the N editions as well) (fullUpgrade=true) is supported in the UpgradeMatrix I released earlier (TmiMatrix excel, second sheet)? No other SKU got the green light to be upgraded from Windows 7. Then: CoreConnectedSingleLanguage and CoreConnectedCountrySpecific can only be upgraded from themselves: this confirms an OEM-only edition that is unlikely to be shared outside the OEM channel, as this means preinstalled on PCs. Upgradeability from self is mainly needed for System Refresh/Reset flow. Nope, that wasn't said.
What!! does this mean M$ authorizes the leak so that they can obtain free testing through a community like this one?!
No. Worst thing he or they to do is not some fake "keygen, super activator" but revealation of leak source. Revealation, Maybe right word. My english not so good as i hope.
