A "key" not a "name" and with no value.

After adding this key on my x64 machine running the 17025 leak, and restarting the WU service, WU is presenting me with:

    Update for Windows 8.1 for x64-based Systems (KB2919442) - (S14 Prerequisite v01.0008) 10.1 MB
Update for Windows 8.1 for x64-based Systems (KB2939087) 1.0 MB

I haven't yet decided whether to push the button.

The KB2919442 is indeed part of the Spring Update, but KB2939087 is not afaik

I suppose that "SHWindowsPoolS14" is a flag of some sort that Windows Update looks at to see whether you are a member of a test group?

I have no idea what KB2939087 is. The KB articles for both are blank. (not 404, a blank page)

Same resulting two updates offered on another machine that has been kept up to date but not with any of these leaks.
I let them install there, it wanted a reboot.

Windows Update seems to take "forever" to check for updates.
    Now, it offers:
    Update for Windows 8.1 for x64-based Systems (KB2919355) (S14 (v14) and Supplemental (Av5\Vv1\Cv1)) 761.2 MB

This will saturate the network connection for a while. I'll push the button and check it later.

Once I'm done with this, is there an easy way to grab the downloaded update files to install on another machine without having to download again?

Indeed, I am doing the same on a fully updated Windows 8.1 x64 machine - again, no leaks for Update 1 have been installed. Adding the registry key does give me access to additional Windows Updates that were not there previously.

hmm, I tried for a laugh, I was only offered 1 update since i'm running 17024, it installed but nothing changed, go figure, hahahaha

I probably got my machine infected with Russian warez stuff :p

After installing these two updates, restart and then check for updates once again. And update(723,7MB) will appear.Hopefully that's Update 1.

I was surprised to hear it mentioned that 17031 may not be the RTM build. Hopefully there will be some confirmation soon.
