We think they might be additional supplemental updates, but they could just be some unreleased March updates or something. It's really hard to tell when they don't have an official update page to look at.
I installed the 17031 rtm updates over the old 17025 pre-release on a system that had been /resetbase'd and it appeared to install correctly, but the numbers aren't jiving with Windows. Dism is listed as the old 17019 from the pre-release and it shows the image version as the same. Just warning people that you really should uninstall the old update before applying this stuff.
Anyone know if it really matter if you install KB2932046 before the KB2919355? I accidentally install the KB2932046 before the KB2919355 because I followed an earlier post by someone who posted the wrong order.
Yes. You are correct, I think it was for Windows Vista SP1 beta preview. I even remember we was talking about it here at MDL forum.
If anyone's tried that, I'd love to hear the result. Namely: -Install Win 8.1 (GA version) -Install the 4/6 updates for Update 1 -Visit WU to see what's there, which since Update 1 is apparently inclusive of everything since 8.1, should be nothing but random items like Bing, driver updates, etc. Before Patch Tuesday, of course.
The order in which you install the updates does not matter at all btw, at least when you had an older version of the update installed.
Le'sigh... wasn't so lucky on my daughter's prowmc system. Now I gotta fix it and hope I don't ruin her settings.. Just out of curiosity did you resetbase that before applying the updates?
i down this files from mega and confirm working ok on x86 just simple q. what about this update for lang packs ? where is this packages ?
I did a clean install of Win 8.1 Pro X64 and installed all the 6 updates in order. Resetbase after that. Disabled System Restore and Hibernation. C drive space used: 13.6 GB only. DISM reports 17031. But I was not able to integrate KB2919355 using DISM. It said some XML file error. Rest of the updates integrated fine. Any help on this?
Seems it's all in the MSU, at least for the major ones I guess. I applied the updates on a German system and everything is localized.
Nope murphy, didn't do anything on it, it was a test OS(my main OS is win8ProX64) so just couldn't care less.
the third link in those direct download link is not working. ]the third link in those download links is not working . would u please uplaod that file or tell me another link to downoload it .
The update has the localized patches included, but if you don't install your language *BEFORE* applying the patches, you will run into a problem. The problem being that the update servers don't have the updated language files available for public consumption yet, and language packs cannot install files it doesn't have.
