DISCUSSION: Windows 8.1 Spring 2014 Update RTM

In wzor site there are only 4 update files. so how people here bring more 2 files ?

 

How can I see if the Updates are right installed ?

I downloaded the x64 package from the mega link, installed every update..

and rebooted...

Update history shows all ok.

Internet Explorer 11 Infos shows: 11.0.9600.17031

so this is the Spring Update1 2014 ?

 

Installed that and don't see any diference...Is this latest build 140221-1952

 

0x8007371B : ERROR_SXS_TRANSACTION_CLOSURE_INCOMPLETE. WTF?

 

I insist that they are part of it

KB2939087 pre-fix issue in NTFS Driver that may affect KB2919355 installation or functional
KB2938439 is Supplement 3 package, and it can be installed with/before/after KB2937592 with no issue

 

Well, WZOR didn't leak them and the ADK doesn't mention them as part of the update...

 

Would I be able to install these updates remotely one by one via Remote Desktop or will that face a problem?

 

Installed all the updates in the right order reboot after each all working great no problems at all
and this is over the last leak, internet explorer shows 11.07 and 17031
pc seems to be working well no problems I can see as yet

Thanks for all your efforts guys - one question I have is, I've just re-installed Windows 8.1 clean image on my laptop - should I activate with a KMS activator first before I install all the Spring 2014 update files or doesn't it matter?

all I can say is that ram optimization is downright incredible in this build, after using 7 and now this on my machine its like night and day, I hope this feature is really promoted more

 

oops, ms forgot to change skydrive name in task scheduler, lol

 

Why when i'm click the Modern IE tile on Start Page it opens the IE Desktop? (IE is my default browser)

 

What is the RTM build? Is it 9600.16500?

 

With so many people here installing the leaked supposedly final update, can someone clarify on this:
1. Increase in C: drive space on install.
2. Does cleaning up superseded updates work.

Impossible to have such a version. I am not talking about explorer.exe file. How about trying slmgr /dlv in cmd and see what build do you get?
