There will not be any LP for this Update. Once you have installed the Update, you will be stuck with your language (unless i am mistaken)
I believe WZT will leak supplement 2014 language update files, but people are definitely advised to apply language files *BEFORE* applying the updates in the meantime
I would appreciate if you could confirm that: - Rollup A (KB2883200) - Rollup B (KB2884846) - November Rollup (KB2887595) - December Rollup (KB2903939) - January14 Rollup (KB2911106) Are not needed since they are included into indows8.1-kb2919355.
I do not think they are needed but in my eyes it is always good to do a Windows Update before installing this just to be sure you are fully "injected" with all updates MS has put out before as intended by the time this update goes public
lunar21: What you are saying is nonsense. KB2919355 is cumulative, so all previous updates are included.
Still, always a good idea to do a WU before as intended by MS. Plus as I stated before, MS plans to let out another rollup update on tuesday so again best practice is to do a WU then install this after tuesday's release.
Its the opposite. Why would you voluntarely fill your system with unnecessary updates? That doesnt make sense. Its like installing all updates prior to SP1 and then installing SP1 itself.
Because lets say with a SP, if you do a clean non SP install and do a WU, you will see the WU has you download ALOT of updates BEFORE it offers you the SP. This is why I say it is always best practice to do a WU beforehand. But in the end it is the users choice. I am only talking out of exp.
Its throwing peas against wall. KB2919355 includes ALL updates released before. So youre getting ALL previus updates (Rollout A, B, November, Decem.... etc. etc.).
