Hi Guys. I really need your help. The other day I found out that the updates got leaked through The Verge and they directly sent me to this site. I tried to download the files and install it the way it was said by another member but unfortunately I cant install KB2919355 (The main one) and I found out that I the user posted the order the wrong way so I tried to check if I can uninstall the update or restore my computer from before I installed the updates but sadly I can't. I was only able to uninstall one update (KB2939087) but I cannot uninstall (KB2932046) since it was MISSING from my installed updates list but it says that it was sucessfully installed on my update history. I was also backreading the replies on this thread and I know that 442 is uninstallable. Any ideas on how I can still install KB2919355 without reinstalling the OS and deleting everything in my computer? Thanks!
Ensure that all the Rollups below are installed before proceeding: - Rollup A (KB2883200) - Rollup B (KB2884846) - November Rollup (KB2887595) - December Rollup (KB2903939) - January14 Rollup (KB2911106) You can download them from Microsoft.
17019 provided a huge performance boost, 17025 did not provide anything extra over 17019 for me, but 17031 provided even more performance boosting over 17019/17025! When will this crazyness end? This is what Windows Vista (without Metro interface) should have been like - an actual upgrade from WindowsXP SP3.

Update 1 is cumulative. I'm not sure why there is still so much confusion over this. If you install 8.1 right now and no additional updates, you can go ahead and install Update 1. After that, check Windows Updates and you will see that there is only 2-3 updates there since all previous updates are included in Update 1.
Install Spring Update on RTM with GA 1 en_windows_8_1_enterprise_x64_dvd_2971902.iso + Spring Update 9600.17031
Yesterday neither 442 nor 355 would install.. today, however all updates installed fine... go figure ... computers are like women, no matter how much we luv 'em, we will never understand 'em
Hi, I've followed all directions for patch order of the files. I did it for 3 x64 machines and it worked just fine. With the ARM patches on my Surface RT i did the same order. The version number shows as my x64 machines but there is no Shutdown Icon in metro UI all the other updates are working on the RT
i installed pro x86 KMS activated by our beloved murphy78 using his windows 8.1 AIO jan edition plus i integrated spring updates by steven4554 x86 exe on a netbook and pro x64 KMS activated with x64 exe on a laptop and then alway using murphy78 AIO & steven4554 exe i installed enterprise x64 KMS activated on a tower with a 120 GB SSD without any problem but let's not forget this quote by FaiKee 9600.17031 is not final release (yes, it's RTM), there would still be revisions before it hits MSDN and public Windows Update.
Unfortunately for me 355 didn't want to install either yesterday or today. Does anyone has a working solution? In Update history it appears as failed.
possible solutions lack of disk space, antivirus, previous unofficial update try a clean install see my post #1415

All the update files installed fineand took about 30 minutes to install. After install I cleaned up WinSXS and made only a defrag. I feel Windows 8.1 is a little bit faster than usual, specially while starting up and shutting down.
Well, strictly speaking, there's never a final release as it would mean development has completely stopped and there won't be any further changes. Therefore, when one declares something final or RTM, it's merely just a tag, a milestone on a road of which you can't see for how long or where it goes on. Personally, I think it's very likely that 9600.17031 is RTM. Everybody was reporting/blogging that the Spring 2014 Update hit RTM, including Foley and the Big Thurrottski, according to their sources and citing WZor as well, although no one named an actual build string except for WZor. Since WZor has not been wrong so many times in the past, there is a high level of accuracy when it comes to leaks like that. And if there will really be revisions to those updates, I'd guess it won't be a problem to apply them on the installed 9600.17031 release. Hmm... I guess only an OEM could 100% proof the RTM state of 9600.17031 at the moment.
