Is the taskbar in the start menu appearing just with the combination of winkey+T? Becouse i've read around that it should appear even if you go down with the mouse cursor but on vm doesn't work like this. Anyone can confirm? ty!
It works if you tick the option "show windows store apps..." and in app you move the mouse to the top and then to bottom.
If you can't answer that question yourself ... you actually don't need it now . Is curiosity a proper reason ?
@s1ave77 Yeah: vmware full screen mode. @cuteee That option is already enabled. Tried the full screen exclusive mode too but still nothing. I think there is something wrong in vmware then...
Also that you can fiddle round and tweak the new features and improve your setup/build process for future
Nope not necessarily, it absolutly does not work on my PC, the only way i can bring it up is via Win+T, no idea why it doesn't work either Edit: Ok from what i can see it doesn't work because this somewhat "obvious?" Reg setting does not get set to Zero ever for me, if anyone with a working taskbar in metro can check.. Code: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\TabletTip\1.7 HideTipband should be 0 i think. Edit: Yep it's that, setting it to 0 (for some reason it got set back to 1 after my first explorer restart so i thought i can't change it, but another change worked) it now works :0 Pretty awkward bug, now that i manually set it to 0 and restarted explorer, it works and enablding/disabling the Show apps on taskbar in properties now works correctly.. weird glitch.
I have no Shutdown button on the Username and Search Show on the Metro UI. This is for ARM Surface RT. Is there a registry that may not be activated? I can always do a Refresh but if I can avoid that with the fact that it may not even solve the problem. HELP?
Hi guys! Everyone seemed to miss my problem out and no one seemed to notice it (except for Snuffy!). I badly need a solution. The other day I found out that the updates got leaked through The Verge and they directly sent me to this site. I tried to download the files and install it the way it was said by another member but unfortunately I cant install KB2919355 (The main one) and I found out that I the user posted the order the wrong way so I tried to check if I can uninstall the update or restore my computer from before I installed the updates but sadly I can't. I was only able to uninstall one update (KB2939087) but I cannot uninstall (KB2932046) since it was MISSING from my installed updates list but it says that it was sucessfully installed on my update history. I was also backreading the replies on this thread and I know that 442 is uninstallable. Any ideas on how I can still install KB2919355 without reinstalling the OS and deleting everything in my computer? Thanks!
@snuffy @Snuffy can't reply thru PM cuz I just joined the forums last night. Anyways, here's my reply. Thanks for the reply Snuffy! I can uninstall the rest of the KBs except for 8439 because it doesn't show up on my installed updates list yet it says that the update was sucessfully installed on my update history. I just need to figure that out then I can start installing the updates again in the right order. Sadly, I can't restore it because the restore point that was automatically made by the computer was AFTER 8439 was installed. Thanks alot for the help! Any replies would be greatly appreciated!
It works if you tick the option "show windows store apps..." and in app you move the mouse to the top and then to bottom quickly.
Thank you. On my Surface Pro it exists just not on my RT, but I know the differences OS versions and Processors etc, just wasn't quite sure if I patched wrong. Saves me the hassle of reinstall and more.
