    17025 leak didn't have 6 updates, are you sure you're running 17025?
I was running 17025 and just installed every RTM Update, everything works perfectly!

Hi! I need help again... I ended up reinstalling windows 8.1 pro. After it installed all the updates found (more or less 35, including KB2883200, KB2884846, KB2887595, KB2903939, KB2911106) I installed KB2919442 and KB2939087, rebooted... but I am still not able to install KB2919355! the message at the end of the (long) update is something like: " The update was not installed"... How on the earth is that possible?

You might need to free up some disk space, KB2919355 is huge, it requires several GBs of free HDD space...

You should just install all the leaked RTM updates over 17025, it worked perfectly for me:)

    Dear All,

Can somebody help me. I have installed the updates in the following order.

    1 KB2919442 Preparation Update
    2 KB2939087 Preparation Update
    3 KB2919355 Update 1
    4 KB2932046 Supplement File
    5 KB2938439
    6 KB2937592
After the second update (ie KB2939087) I have restarted my system and on the desktop double clicked the KB2919355 msu, it completed the installing and I restarted the system. There started the problem. Windows is crashing and not booting. It itself restarted twice and giving me the option to repair. Done many times. But not booted. I had an acronis backup of C before doing this, it saved me. I am back in my PC. But can somebody tell me what was the problem. I have installed 32 bit Windows 8.1 pro VL KMS activated and updated till Feb 2014.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards,
    Manu

OK I've thoroughly tested the boot.wim integration and can conclusively say that there is no benefit in adding the updates/resetbase on boot.wim index1
it does not affect win8.0 to 8.1's upgrade process. At least there is no difference between the 8.1 GA boot.wim

The requirement to fix the 8.0 to 8.1 upgrade is the download updates part of the setup program. The files are using in 8.0 though, not during the 8.1 setup portion of the process.
Without allowing the updates, you will have sfc errors after upgrading.

I am on my 2nd HDD now which has the factory Windows 8.1 Single Language.

Do you think if I update to 8.1 now I will get the update 1 rollup files with that download as well or not yet?

after installation of 8.1, how can I verify if it's 8.1 or 8.1.1?

Check BuildLabEx String under: "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion" Should show 17031 for 8.1.1.
