Hey guys running windows 8.1 enterprise X64. Used the TermServPatch, can only have one concurrent user. Any ideas?
Will it work with non-Pro Windows 8.1? Probably a dumb question, but will this patch work with the base version of Windows 8.1 - not the Pro version?
Hi, thanks for all the hard work.. i just finished update to 8.1 pro 64 bit.. TermSrv.dll still original, can i patch directly "TermSrv.dll Patcher for W8.1 and WS2012R2 v1.0" without installing or running the first termsrv for win 8? cheers
thank you This patch worked for me.. i am using windows 8.1 pro thank you very much for one click solution.
Yes, and a lot of us really need that capability. I think supporting a remote logon with the same User name as the current console User was the reason that the Windows 7 patch has those extra bytes. It would be nice if we could port that to Windows 8.1. We also had that in the Windows 8 patch, and I am surprised that the 8.1 termsrv.dll is that different. It works for Server 2012R2.
I applied these patches to a Windows 8.1 system and they didn't work. I applied the changes using UEdit and it found the strings and only one occurrence of each string. I double checked my typing and they looked correct. When I tested the user on the target system running RDP was kicked off immediately. I did not get any message that another User would be logged off, but was immediately given priority. When I logged back on at the target system console it informed me that the User I was logging in as was already connected but immediately killed the RDP connection when I logged in. I did double check the registry and it was set correctly, both entries 0. Any suggestions are welcome.
i test that and fully working i am sure that is your fault if you want i can check your system via teamviewer or send me your patched file , i will check that for you
I won't deny the possibility it was something I did, but I checked everything twice. How about you posting a copy of the patched x64 dll that you know works?
send me your patched file i removed windows 8.1 x64 enterprise after my test see attachment , this is for my Windows 8.1 Enterprise x86
