Hi, all I have found a small workaround for anyone that is having mouse pointer issues, eg. mouse pointer locks up when u move to the corners of your screen I think this might be an ati issue not quite sure, but anyway for now when I login from cold boot I then hit ctrl+alt+del then switch user and log back in some some reason this fixes it, I have to do this everytime or I get pointer issues hope this helps a few of you, because it was driving me batty :)

No you can't turn off UAC, turning off UAC completly (you can't do this via GUI) will break all of Metro and give you a error when you want to launch a metro application.

I've pinned the Audio Console Launcher application shortcut (which is normally two layers deep in the Windows 7 Start menu) to the Taskbar. Creative MediaSource (my usual audio player) is another candidate for pinning - as are both VLC (DVDs and video files) and Windows Media Center (TV - both recorded and live).

Yeah, this bug is well known by MS :/ The refresh is completing right now.
Btw this made me test the refresh experience. A little bit slow (same time than Windows installation) but the experience is great.

EDIT2 : works now aftre the refresh. Thanks MS :D

I have the same bug too on the French version.
a Little OT: I can't see the Windows Media Center on my 64bits version. Is it gone on the french version ?, or it's just me ...
I have read here that it's working fine on English version. ??
    Thanks :)

Same here (normal english version), seems to be a issue with the Resolution Windows setups on it's own, changing the resolution will magically make everything work but.. not really useful this way. So im still looking for a way to reset without using the REset/Refresh feature which fails in VHD

It's not a resolution bug, it was still happening at max resolution (26**x1***)

I hate it that you can't use Metro IE if IE10 isn't your default browser. IE10 Metro is insanely fast, but I want to keep using Firefox for the desktop o_O

It's a res bug here, no matter what Resolution i use, it works on every but my main (1920x1080) bugged tiles as well, still no idea how to fix it
