Stupid question here but, with my x200s I have a docking station. Is there a way to tell windows (like W7) to undock my laptop before removing it from the docking station ? Oh yeah and the only thing not working is the smartcard reader. I also not know how long the battery will last compared to windows 7 ! Edit : After a couple of tests, I can Dock/Undock without any problems...
I looked but couldn't find a doctored image to print on my DVD so I made one out of one that somebody else made for Windows 7. Feel free to use it if you want to print on your DVD too.
Exactly - QuickTask wasn't in the Developer Preview, for example. By the way, what printer do you have? (My older-than-Vista HP DeskJet 940C was supported directly by the Consumer Preview, as it has been by every OS I've thrown at it.) In fact, I haven't even needed Compatibility Mode.

I am enjoying Customer Preview sorta. not having the start orb is ok , and I am enjoying evaluating. I can NOT get magnet links to work in chrome. this is as far down the rabbit hole as I have been thus far, and will keep looking. the magnet links seem to work fine in IE ...
I am ok not having the start menu since I am getting used to the metro UI. However here is my windows 8 taskbar. . A lot of the tweaks from sevenforums can still be used on WCP as well. Such as ungrouping taskbar buttons without text. Changing libraries and homegroup icons through regedit, and adding logoff, restart, sleep, hiberate, and shutoff on the taskbar. so that you don't have to go through several tasks just to shut down.
