Another way: Ctrl-Alt-Del brings up the screen where you can click on the button in the lower-right and select shutdown, sleep, or restart.
I'm surprised Microsoft hasn't polished the metro buttons... Transparency makes them look bad. Other then that can't complain about CP I'm using it on a very low end laptop with hardly and problems and its smooth and fast... accept when I take a screenshot, it lags for a few seconds after I press PrtSc.

Be careful doing that one. I broke start scren messing with that. Memory leak once again. And ofcourse, since taskmanager is not taskmanger anymore, but an app, you can't even bring up taskmanager because the start screen "app" has crashed
