[DISCUSSION] Windows 8 Consumer Preview Build 8250

any one worked out how to get skydrive to work in the "classic" explorer rather than the metro app. I am trying to save a photo from a webpage to place it in skydrive!

 

Hmm i cant logon to my account on bigbrother.se what plugin do i need to get it to work, i run win8 cp

 

With Windows 8 Microsoft is turning into Google, on top of all the bad reputation they already have.

We will see how stubborn Microsoft (or us users) are. Will there be a Windows 8 Second Edition with fixed user interface (with classic Windows 7 start menu and/or some other UI fixes) some time in 2013

There is no 'Piano' application

 

Does anyone know if Windows To Go / Portable Workspace is in this build? I cant find it... this new look is going to take some getting used to!

 

I keep getting Session5_Initialization_Failed when trying to install either from a USB or a CD.

I see the fish and then it gives me that error. I have erased my drive and put a new partition on it.

 

ms has a hotfix for it

I was about to install but I see a few here that have already elected to uninstall it. Is it that bad? Not much an improvement over WDP?

 

it is very smooth,metro crapp apps is what's killing it,IMHO

 

what the hek happend with all the windows DP apps?
