Is it personal email or work? If personal (ie yahoo, hotmail) you can find those setting using Bing/google pretty quickly. If its work, youll have to check your account settings

Has anyone managed to install it on a MBR disk? It keeps telling me that it can only install it on a GPT disk.

It's more like folks got so comfortable with the Start menu they refuse to explore what has made it irrelevant (and I'm not just talking about the StartScreen). In the same corner where the Start button hides (lower left), right-clicking brings up the QuickTask menu. This new menu (was not in the DP) includes not just most of the items from the old 7 Start menu, but options it lacked - such as a separate Administrator (elevated) Command Prompt. Windows 7 has been fired.

I cant believe people really get caught up over not seeing a Start Button or having the traditional menu. As long as you can still easily access what you need to (after you figure out how) I dont see why its a big deal. And really, how often did people use the Start menu? Start up/shutdown, occasionally looking for a program to launch?

Did you try opening the iso and copying the files to a USB and then booting to it. I am not at home now so I don't have access to correct/full procedure, but I know with Win7 it was no big deal.

So how does upgrading work? Burn iso to DVD still?

Yes. The tool is very easy to use but after it did format the USB drive, it gives an error that the files could not be copied. It's an 64 GB USB drive and the official ISO of the CP 64bit German.

Ok, I think I got around this error. I used Partition Magic and erased/partitioned my destination drive. Then I booted into Windows 7 from another drive and ran /sources/setup.exe from the Windows 8 USB drive created using the Win 7 USB tool. It let me choose which drive to install on and right now it is copying files to the drive. *cross fingers*

Fine for me. You can keep your programs. Unpack iso to C:\W8 and run setup.exe

I upgraded W7 to W8 on my pc and netbook. Now when I change wallpaper on PC, the wallpaper changes on netbook too. That sucks :/ I'm afraid if I write wrong e-mail address I won't be able to lanuch games which need Games for Windows Live lanuched

Ok guys installed Lego Build 8250 64 bit, on Dell D630 with nVidia graphics,

    First Impressions:
    - Fast as hell in clean installation from USB(created with ultraISO, walk in a park), same USB same computer let me say 5 times faster in installation and configuration
    - Boot let me say immediate
    - Same good features as Build 7989
    - Re-added Pdf reader
    - 300 mb RAM less usage than DP

just the beginning, seems well usable with mouse, let me try more....
That Ugly metro Crap is ugly :puke:
The White color of charm bar is not a glance, with various shiny WP,

Let me try a few days, for speed at booting and shutting off is the best and faster ever tried(not on SSD) :D
