I've been using WS2016 for the past 2 days and i must say i like it much better then LTSB. It takes some extra steps after a clean install to get it going in full Workstation mode etc. but wow im really liking this. It feels more snappy and stable then regular 1607 enterprise and the best part no metro apps. This is my main OS now and will be from now on
Great! I might install Windows Server '16 then. But i'm still waiting for a german lp and KMS can't activate it yet.
Unfortunately it seems not present on Server 2016 I guess//hope that importing the needed packages wouldn't be that hard, just like the dedup packages on clients.
Not for server, yet. I've seen it for clients available through WU (even for users not enrolled to receive insider builds).
Nah, i better wait for the official version since there are just too many folders that have language folders in it. I hope it will work as soon as Windows Server is officialy released.
The folders are a zillion, but the ones I indicated are enough to have most of the nationalized system, when the official LPs will leak just delete the mui reg item, and install them normally, the files copied manually will be just overwritten.
Obviously you wouldn't get any error if you don't wait until the dedup task is started (usually that happens in late night).
Just a small notice. I have just realized that unlike the previous versions the 14393 build includes the w32 calculator (not the ugly metro one)
