DISCUSSION: Windows Server 2016 14393 (1607)

Hi, I have difficulty installing the Italian language on a winserver 2016 and I am looking for the file ... filescdn.com/3asl4j20jf8b/mu_windows_server_2016_language_pack_x64_dvd_9327828.iso but since it is not available I tried to install this lp_2501d43b7500f5a7e70cf67cce984f224f774999.cab it-it getting error before end.
I had renamed the file for simplicity.

Hi everyone. I need some help I have been looking up and down the threads trying to find a 2016 essentials vl iso, I even tried to convert a Eval to VL but I was told that I couldn't do that with that version. Would anyone be able to point one out please. Thanks in advance.

The 2016 essentials from Evaluation Center is NOT Evaluation copy.

 

yes, i just noticed that when installing it on VM and not only essentials but other versions too.
That's why i didn't tell him to convert from Eval to official essentials as when it was installed on VM, i noticed it's official as you said.

1. ISO\sources\install.wim\Windows\System32\spp\

store_test

2. ISO\sources\install.wim\Windows\servicing\Packages\Microsoft-Windows-EnterpriseSEvalEdition

Eval

3. ISO\sources\install.wim\Windows\servicing\Packages\Microsoft-Windows-WLMS-Package

I'm about to reinstall a HP Server having Windows Server 2016 Standart , should I get from eval center ( which says datacenter when downloading ) or which one you'd recommend ? ( Guess I need retail version but not sure of latest build link )

Doubt there is a newer ISO (didn't check), but it would only contain newer updates, which you can integrate/install yourself too.
