Yep. My own language use cyrillic not latin. After installation cyrillic user folder name create many problems. Because many programs not understand cyrillic. If I knew where inside install.wim is the built-in name then changed it.

Should take just a few seconds, i did this today on Server 2022 LTSC EVAL a few times and it didn't take long, i do it in command prompt, not in PS.

But why on earth are you installing EVALs when the non EVALs are easy to get?

Weird. Some games won't launch on Windows Server 2019. So far only found two games:
1: Shadow of the Tomb Raider (CODEX)
2: Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain (CODEX)

Both have DENUVO inside and cracked same team. Download old version Shadow of the Tomb Raider (CPY) and the game started perfectly. Some kind of incompatibility CODEX Denuvo cracks and Windows Server OS. I can't figure out what prevents them from launching. I have disabled all unnecessary server OS security features that might conflict. Can someone faced with a similar problem and knows a solution?

 

Why would you play games on a server?

 

There were few discussions in the past about this subject.
Check the Windows Server 2022 for recent posts.
Some people like to use "server as workstation" and there are web sites promoting this sort of configuration.
I am not among those interested in this kind of thing, although I tried it in the past with poor results.

 

I have encountered programs and games, which would refuse to launch on a server OS, many many years ago.
the solution is simple: don't use a server OS as a client OS.

I check alredy half of my all games and all programs. So far everything launching. Except those two games of which I mentioned above. But this is a special case. The same two games from CPY work fine. Therefore this is a CODEX crack fault. GTA V work even better then on desktop OS. With MSAA x8 I have slideshow on desktop LTSC.

 

Difficult to crack protections like Denuvo are complex and aren't tested against weird configurations like Windows Server, Linux Wine or things like that by the scene groups but on regular client Windows. Your case is especially unsuitable for this weird "server as workstation" thing, more than the regular "don't do it". Get regular Windows 10 (or LTSC 2019) and don't waste your time
