Finally found and dumped SLIC 2.7, which should activate Server 2025: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/oa-2-x-slic-oemcert-collection.5952/page-94#post-1849481 Will do some testing to verify auto-activation still works with SLIC 2.7 on Server 2025.
Confirmed working SLP activation using SLIC 2.7 on Windows 2025 Standard and Datacenter with valid OEM keys and certificate.
Confirmed working on my 10 years old Asus non-UEFI motherboard with Dell SLIC 2.7 tabel inserted into the AMI Bios and Dell 2.6 certificate installed Server 2025 activated with Microsoft OEM SLP Standard key
To clarify, there is no "Dell (SLIC) 2.6 certificate." The company actually uses the same certificate for all SLIC 2.x revisions since SLIC 2.0.
Newer Server IP builds 26xxx still display Server 2025 but are timebombed again. If you use one of these builds, you need to go back (fresh install).
I asked this here in #196 and got the answer that it is possible to change from eval to full version without new installation (#197). I am testing latest Windows Server 2025 26257 LTSC vNext eval. And as everything works fine I would change to full version but want to avoid a fresh install. Can someone verify this?
2025 is 26100 build, and it should be possible to switch edition 26257 is an Insider Preview build with a timebomb, you can't workaround it, and you should update your build very soon because it will expire in september
@Paul Mercer : Thank you. And updating means new installation or in place update? I tested 26100 too but had too many problems with this version.
There's no build with a later expiration date, yet. Should arrive very soon, though, and you should apply it ASAP. Expired builds don't boot anymore until you do some clock time f*ckery.
