Has anyone got a copy of the Windows Server 2025 features on demand ISO? Ideally that matches up with the August 2025 ISO build linked above by the Massgrave Enthusiast. I'm having nothing but grief installing the en-GB language pack and getting the 0x80092004 error code from DISM and Windows Update.
FOD ISO doesn't change or get updated unless they messed thing up again, the fix for the en-us collide issue with some languages is either: - remove this package and run cleanup (offline image not live OS) before adding en-GB LP Code: dism.exe /Image:C:\Mount /Remove-Package /PackageName:Microsoft-Windows-Server-LanguagePack-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~en-US~10.0.26100.1 dism.exe /Image:C:\Mount /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBase - install (add) LCU, run cleanup to remove RTM packages, install en-GB LP, then re-add LCU
Apologies if this is a dumb question, but the install is on the C: drive, so could I reboot into the recovery environment, run DISM /Image:C:\ /Remove-Package /PackageName:Microsoft-Windows-Server-LanguagePack-Package~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~en-US~10.0.26100.1 and then DISM /Image:C:\ /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBase and then reboot into Windows and install the language pack like normal? EDIT: So I did this and Windows is now just stuck in a boot loop. The Windows logo appears but no spinny gif, then reboots, does the same twice more before launching into Automatic Repair. EDIT 2: I had to reboot back into the Recovery Environment, mount the FOD ISO and then do DISM /Image:C:\ /Add-Package /PackagePath="D:\LanguagesAndOptionalFeatures\Microsoft-Windows-Server-Language-Pack_x64_en-gb.cab" to add the en-GB language pack back to Windows. It seems to work as I was able to add some features to Windows.
So another update, I got the updated August 2025 ISO from Mass Grave and it seems the Language Pack issue has been fixed. I was able to apply the en-GB Language Pack with no issues via the LPKSETUP command like I normally do. So thank you for the help, turns out I should just gotten the newest ISO instead of using the RTM ISO. GLaDOS: (Slow Clap) Oh good, my slow processor made it into this thing, so we have that.
We never openly publish the MVS links (no need to get attention from msft for that), the ISOs are already downloaded and uploading for MAS, those links we publish.
Not publicly shown, the link is not shown, it is kinda hidden behind a click We never publish the MVS links as they are, i do en-US for the general information and de-DE because a friend needs them for their website. By the time the temp urls are expired the massgrave links should almost be up
