what kind of vm company my server 2025 datacenter on vmware pro 25h2 working perfectly every month downloading cumulative updates including the january 2026 update although I am skipping the out of band if they exist updates on server 2025/server 2022 and win 11 insiders preview release doesn't affect me
I use Hyper-V and the updates do not update automatically. I guess i should enable the option, that way i would not get in this situation, but could get problematic one's that break things.
I login and run windows update manually every patch tuesday, but my install just a plain vanilla setup so no production or important things I have to worry about if it breaks; running my vmware on a dell 6th gen cheap laptop with 8gb ram running windows server 2022 datacenter as the main operating system
Catalog entries can sometimes be removed by MSFT but the actual links not, so always best to publish the full links too
Personally, I so hate those catalog entries... they simply , so annoying, especially for "queer" members like me trying to resurrect abandoned legacy software. (rant off) Anyway, full links are appreciated indeed.
