RTM is an old way to announce a new build is sent to the manufacturer: Released To Manufacturer. But yes, it should be the major new server release.
So this is showing up as Windows Server 2025, Version 24H2 ( Build 26100.1 ); as "public preview" ? I'm guessing this will 99.99% nearly resemble what MS deems as "RTM" when they "officially" release this?
Yes the term preview is not like insider preview, just because of what you suggest they call the 26100.1 ISO "preview" they did this with 20348 too
sure, the "old" build 26100 is LTSC version for 24H2, called Server 2025 the latest Canary build is for annual 25H2 server release (core only)
