Almighty, I had tested Windows Server 2025 are looks like Windows 11, but add for Server features Rolls.. I will wait more longer when is really fully mature Final release.. Keep in mind that Windows Server 2022 Standard is still good til' 2031 (7 years) pretty long time before expired.. AGAIN, this Windows Server 2022 (Standard or Datacenter) is still currently fully support Windows 10, and Windows 11.. ATGPUD2003
Not too impressed with Server 2025 at present. Not much different than Server 2022 GUI wise. Not sure about under the hood.
Server 2022 more easy ... than 2025 EX : after add domains rôles you need to search for adsi edit , group policy etc... this features no visible on windows server 2025 menu... ( in advanced ) In server 2022 after convert to domain controlller features are added to advanced menu Others lost... 2025 ... have two level 2016 level or 2025 .. Server 2022 have level 2008, 2008R2 2012R2 , 2016
I not to thrilled with Windows Server 2025 at this moments, But still preview anyway.. Seem pushing "WINDOWS 11" Style.. Also confusing the different from Windows 2022 and 2025.. My personally is Windows Server 2022 Standard or Datacenter (make no different you like the editions..) that Windows 2022 will end of 2031 anyway.. Plenty of time before we learn on Windows 11 and but for that can use StartAllBack tools is would be feel back into Windows 10 and or Windows Server 2022!! ATGPUD2003
