Anybody else here trying to use the Linux Subsystem in this?

For me if I install eg. Ubuntu on LXSS using these instructions: docs.microsoft.com \ en-us \ windows \ wsl \ install-on-server (new user so I can't post real links...) it only works until the first time I logoff from Windows. Next time I log back into my Server 2019 preview installation, bash.exe tells me that I have no distributions installed and ubuntu.exe from the distro package just throws Error 0x800703fa.

Only way to fix this situation I've figured out so far is to create another Windows user account and reinstall Ubuntu on that, then it works until the next logoff. Deleting the old distro directory doesn't fix this, trying to reinstall by running ubuntu.exe throws error 0x80070003. So I have no idea which files or registry entries I'd have to delete to clean up the situation without making another user account.

Hopefully they at least fix this before the official Server 2019 release, ever since MS mistakenly gave Win10 LTSB 2016 users a taste of the Linux Subsystem before taking it away I've been impatiently waiting for a LTS release which includes it, doesn't really matter whether it's Win10 or Server w/ desktop experience installed for me (actually server is better anyway since it doesn't have stupid restrictions re new CPUs unlike Win10 LTSB)

EDIT: Also of course: many thanks to the ppl who shared the ISOs for us without interest in making an account with MS.

UPDATE: Seems that sometimes it starts working again if I wait a while after logging, also now when I tried completely rebooting the VM it worked instantly after login. Still weird, I dont recall having these kinds of problems in Win10 LTSB when it had Linux Subsystem available...
