[DISCUSSION] Windows Server Build 17744

Where's the next Server IP? I figured 17754.1 would be available by now

 

Given how broken the last build was, perhaps they've realized that one per week is a completely stupid schedule that gives zero time for actually testing a build in a realistic manner before the new one is out...

 

Surely we will see a new Server IP then.

Can this version be activated with the lastest build of IP

 

No.

RTM WAT + RTM License =OK

RTM WAT + Preview License = Not OK

e.g.

17751 RTM WAT + 17755 RTM License = OK

17751 RTM WAT + 17744 Preview License = Watermark disappeared, but impossible to activate.

 

What about time bomb?

 

No timebomb, just not able to activate.

Wish they would release the server insider updates as often as the desktop. You are not required to test every version if it bothers you so much.

 

I agree with you. But Server probably won't be released until RTM I'm afraid

 

Yeah because there are no longer expiry dates in the recent builds being release on the Windows 10 side, we likely won't see another build now.

 

Looking for Server 17760.1. Probably won't see Server RTM until public release.
