    i actually like the new style of windows server 10 or windows 10 :X

    i guess i got the winflu virus

    Hi,

    Is there a Desktop installation of Windows Sever Technical Preview 2 build 10074 ?

    all I get is:
    1) Core
    2) Core with Server Manager

    endbase has it right. Also, like Server 2012R2, Desktop Experience is a separate feature (Store and all).
    There is a plus AND a minus in the Hyper-V support; the minus is that Hyper-V now requires SLAT (equal to Windows 8 Pro/Enterprise and later) - amusingly, it's still LESS finicky than Windows 8 and later there, despite that. (Since the 10000 series, Hyper-V+Windows 10 = hang; meanwhile, Server 2016 10074 is getting VS 2015 Enterprise RC installed as I type this (Hyper-V role is already installed); that's the part that is screwy (especially since this is a notebook).

    Have anyone tried the Hyper-V Server Preview? I'm considering grabbing it and run Windows 10 Preivew, Windows Server Preview and Sophos UTM Home in Hyper-V on it.
