I totally lost track here...did it become more user friendly by now ? Like, click and go ? Manually downloading Linux Distributions via the MS store seemed to be a 1st step, but is it more "simple" by now ? Like "double click" Linux/Amazon apps and..GO ? This is how I imagined this back in the days... Would the amazon store by now be automatically integrated and working worldwide ?
Hello guys, who know the prerequisites for WSAndroid ? I've tried with 8 GB RAM and Dual core Proc, but doesn't work tia
Has anyone tried setting up a gapps account that requires google MDM Policy Manager to be installed? I tried adding a gapps account and it said I it was a managed account (which it is) and required me to install the Google Device Policy manager app. which is fine and expected, but said the device type was not supported or something along those lines. I have tried this on the last few WSA versions (latest included) with basically the same results. Is Google MDM not supported yet under WSA? I would think this might be a nice test tool for testing android apps under wsa.
Does anyone here how to prevent WSA from auto-updating to the latest release? The only working version in my environment is WindowsSubsystemForAndroid_1.8.32836.0 (so far), and as soon as it's installed it got updated to the current latest WindowsSubsystemForAndroid_2209.40000.26.0... Grouppolicy against Store auto update or opt-out from store option doesn't help. After 1.8.32736, around the release they updated to android 12.1, video playing (HWdecode implemented) became poor in quality and unstable.
