You should try it for yourself! For me, the most important thing is that it is open source. It does most of the things that Winrar & 7-Zip does, if not everything. Out of the three, I liked PeaZip's UI & UX the most, it looks the best visually as well. It gets updated frequently as well (7-Zip doesn't get updated frequently). That's all from me.
Whats the use of Winrar by Rarlab if we already have 7zip opensource app. why people prefer paid app which cant even compare itself to a opensourced one. 7zip far more more better then winrar. Correct me if am wrong somewhere & i know some people who lov to use winrar will get jealous of this comment.
I use both. Sometimes winrar can extract archives better that 7zip and vice versa (ie, exe). There's no harm in having multiple tools at hand...
Hmm 7zip never let me down in any scenario. thatswhy i commented . thank you as you said theres no harm in having multi tools handy | removed my comment |

7-Zip vs WinRar has been discussed before, possibly right here in this thread. I think the people who preferred WinRar were swayed by a preference for the interface / GUI. I'm in that number myself. If I didn't have Winrar, 7-Zip would most definitely be "good enough".
I prefer WinRar for the GUI interface , to browse and search files with a specific keyword and to wiew the results quickly.
