disksnapshot.exe showing cmd window Build 10576

    Does anyone else have this happening when you are idle? I dont think its suposed to show a cmd window and just run in the background. I move my pointer or hit the min window button and it goes away and then comes back a few times. How do I make this stop poping up if this is not a bug?

    what disksnapshot.exe do ? I checked this program in cmd and got error.

    i just deleted disksnapshot.exe from System32 :biggrin:

    or disable task Diagnostics in Task Scheduler Microsoft\Windows\DiskFootprint ;)

    It is not in Windows 10 build 10240. I read it has been in three other builds after 10240.

    I read all, but I still do not understand what actually Windows do with disksnapshoot...

    You can see what it is capable of and it's predefined modes in CMD as admin. " dfp /? "
