Can't find any reference for this command.

What are you trying to achieve?

What am I trying to achieve? Well it depends on what you mean. Ultimately I am trying to simply be able to service my Windows 10 install using dism, that's the longer term goal...However, short term, I am trying to fix this error 1114. Does that answer your question??

@Lobo, s1ave77 wants to know what slashing123 wants to do, he uses a command that's not for /online use but for offline or mounted wim use.

Please first check if there are no systemfile integrity problems by running sfc /scannow (if it finds unrepairable errors use this commandline to see what is wrong: findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >"%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt" ).

@lobo11, yes i saw that first link too, but no acknowledgement of that error code, they advise to re-install windows.

Second link is not about dism error codes (but who knows, maybe it helps :D).

First thing to do is a sfc /scannow command, to see if the system files are still OK.

The command you used can't be used for /online servicing, and the cbs log shows dism is searching for an offline (i.e. a parallel install on another drive) but isn't successful.

You say you're trying to 'service' your windows, that can be done; see reference from 'dism /online /?':

    Code:
Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
    Version: 10.0.14393.0

    Image Version: 10.0.14393.0

The following commands may be used to service the image:

    WINDOWS EDITION SERVICING COMMANDS:

/Optimize-Image - Performs specified configurations to an offline
                                image.
/Set-ProductKey - Sets the product key of the offline image.
/Get-TargetEditions - Displays a list of Windows editions that an image
                                can be upgraded to.
/Get-CurrentEdition - Displays the edition of the current image.
/Set-Edition - Upgrades an image to a higher edition.

    DEFAULT ASSOCIATIONS COMMANDS:

/Remove-DefaultAppAssociations - Removes the default application associations
                                from a Windows image.
/Import-DefaultAppAssociations - Imports a set of default application
                                associations to a Windows image.
/Get-DefaultAppAssociations - Displays the list of default application
                                associations from a Windows image.
/Export-DefaultAppAssociations - Exports the default application associations
                                from a running operating system.

    PROVISIONING PACKAGE SERVICING COMMANDS:

/Get-ProvisioningPackageInfo - Gets the information of provisioning package.
      /Add-ProvisioningPackage - Adds provisioning package.

    APPX SERVICING COMMANDS:

/Set-ProvisionedAppxDataFile - Places custom data into the specified app
package (.appx or .appxbundle). The specified
application package must already be in the image.
/Remove-ProvisionedAppxPackage - Removes app packages (.appx or .appxbundle)
from the image. App packages will not be installed
when new user accounts are created.
/Add-ProvisionedAppxPackage - Adds app packages (.appx or .appxbundle) to the
image and sets them to install for each new user.
/Get-ProvisionedAppxPackages - Displays information about app packages
(.appx or .appxbundle) in an image that are
set to install for each new user.

    UNATTEND SERVICING COMMANDS:

/Apply-Unattend - Applies an unattend file to an image.

    DRIVER SERVICING COMMANDS:

/Remove-Driver - Removes driver packages from an offline image.
/Add-Driver - Adds driver packages to an offline image.

    I am trying to install some .cab updates/packages. So even if I enter...dism /online /Add-Package /PackagePath:<Path to Package>

I will still get Error 1114

I've done tried enter the command (dism /online /Add-Package /PackagePath:<Path to Package>) several times and it just fails with Error 1114

I've repaired the errors...and ran it again...the only errors left are related to files for the Windows Media Center on Windows 10 hack/tweak/etc.

And I can't remove it because dism isn't working, as it is installed using dism correct?
