After last update KB4565503 it is no longer possible to clean
"WinSxS Assemblies" always reports me error.
Does anyone find the same problem?

However I tried and tried again but always the same error, the cancellation starts but at 5% the error comes out.
This is the first time in 4 years of using the utility.
I have also tried with the previous version same problem.
No errors in the system with SFC.
Any idea?

 

I also have the above problem and it also creates a non functioning Notepad after cleaning W10 - 2004 with the latest updates.

It has not been updated in 6 months so i am begining to think it is abandoned!?

I don't think the problem with "Noetpad" is caused by this program, since many windows users are claiming the disappearance of this after the latest KB4565503 update.
Let's hear what the author Mouri_Naruto thinks about it.

Well, i have tested it over and over with the help of my backup program. Installing the latest update - no problem, after cleaning with Dism++ - non functioning.

 

I tested little deeper this time and it is - Replaced Win SxS Assemblies - that does it.

After installing the W.update and cleaning with my cleaning programs except Dism++ - no problem. So i took all the post that i use to in Dism++ except the above mentioned, still no problem with Notepad after several restarts. Running it with the mentioned, problem! Even after 2-3 restarts and running Sfc /scannow. So that is pretty conclusive.

And it also throwed an - Error - when trying to clean outdated drivers.

No i am off to run the Component store cleanup command in CMD.

I don't quite understand what you say.
Can you clean "WinSxS Assemblies" after last update or not?
In my case on 3 different PCs with win10pro after last update I can't.
Same error on all 3 systems

First it says error but every other post cleans. After the program is done i restart the pc and run WinSxS assemblies again and then that post cleans, but creates a non working Notepad.
