Introduction for NCleaner, one of the components of Dism++

I want to express my gratitude to NCleaner users and supporters.
I also want to express my gratitude to Chuyu Team.

NCleaner was originally a Dism++ third party cleanup enhancement plugin.
Because I don't want to use NCleaner after using Dism++, so I start the project.

Because of the Dism++'s Plugin Interface is too fast to change.
And Dism++'s main developer (mingkuang) hopes NCleaner can be integrated into Dism++.

I am agree with him.
So start with version 1.0.1.4, NCleaner becomes a component of Dism++.

Let me talk about the benefits of deep integration with Dism++

1 Most people do not need to download NCleaner
2.NCleaner will no longer appear compatibility problems because the Dism++'s Plugin Interface changes.
3 NCleaner will have more users, but the most important thing is that mingkuang can help me fix bugs (*^_^*)

Introduction for Frog Plugin, the first Dism++ plugin and one of the components of Dism++.

This is the first Dism++ plugin in the world.(At least two years of history)

Here are the features from Frog Plugin:

There are no options for disable the Dism++ Auto Update.
There are no options for disbable Send Report to the authors E-mail when Dism++ is crashed.

Because the author want to fix the bugs as soon as possible, and there are many bugs in the early version of Dism++.

For example:
Today, many computers are hacked by Onion(WannaCry). Many people who want to install the MS17-010 hotfix and found their computer which installed Windows 7 may be in the BugCheck(BSOD) status because the ci.dll's and ntoskrnl.exe's version is not fit.

The Windows 7's ci.dll BSOD is caused by the Dism++ which version is earlier than 10.1.17.1. (Dism++ 10.1.17.1 released on 21th November, 2016)

Because the developer paid no attention of the Windows 7's GDR and LDR branches when he designed WinSxS cleanup at that time.
Later the developer fix it as soon as possible. But many people which used the Windows 7 Image which is used the early version of Dism++'s WinSxS cleanup will be affected.

If you had used the Dism++'s WinSxS cleanup on you Windows 7 PC and the Dism++ version is earlier than 10.1.17.1. I suggest you should reinstall your OS.

 

I asked the author later, he said "Dism++ 10.1.17.1 or later version will fix it automaticly when install hotfixes via Dism++"

 

In Dism++'s latest beta version(I got the 10.1.2000.10), you can change Dism++'s UI Language Settings in Option menu.

 

Frog Plugin and NCleaner are integraded in Dism++ release.

 

It is antivirus false positives. You can submit the Dism++ as the sample to antivirus developers.

 

You can type Dism++x64 /? or Dism++x86 /? at Dism++'s folder to get help
