Does it possible to remove the big green image with a desk in splash screen ?

 

It's not the splash screen, but the initial setup wizard, and it's meant to show an overview of the actions you can do with the program.

By the way, what do you all think about that joke?

 

+1 to remove this splash screen in the setup.
+1 to let the user to choose a color theme and no green by default.

 

Yeah... I'm not a comedian by any means, but you know what I meant about that (it's in the release notes). You'll discover the origin of this "joke" soon

The nightly installer generation workflow has seen some speed improvements. Now, nightly installers are generated much more quickly and the generation process doesn't take as long to find MSBuild as previously.

Regional settings page​

Currently, that's the only thing implemented because, for the regional settings page alone, I had to convert Schneegans' JSON files to XML files (since that doesn't require external libraries and is the ".NET way") with an online converter and use a Python script (the creation of which was assisted in by AI) that would change the formatting to something that could be more easily readable by the program. I have done all of that just to fill in the values of the combo boxes. By the way, those XML files will be present in the GitHub repository so that you can also use them separately.

Basic page navigation is also functional, and you can see a provisional array of steps on the left.

I've planned to do updates for each milestone achieved with this wizard, so expect more posts like this one.
