DISMTools 0.7.2 Preview 4 is expected to arrive tomorrow morning (GMT+1). This release is packed full of features: Lots of changes have been made to the WDS Helper to make it better, such as the ability to detect PXE client and server addresses, and the ability to capture an image using the WDS Image Capture wizard (part of the "WDS-Tools" WinPE OC) ADK detection has been revamped and works with existing ADKs (10.1.26100.2454 and earlier), and the newest ADK (10.1.28000.1). DISMTools will start downloading version 10.1.28000.1 of the ADK and its WinPE addon for the stable release of 0.7.2, as it arrived too late for that change to be included in Preview 4 PXE Helper Server components can now be invoked from the Tools menu on Windows servers DISMTools can now get the appropriate generic product key given the edition of the loaded image. This works with most install images There are also additional improvements and fixes. More on those when Preview 4 is released The stable version of DISMTools 0.7.2 will arrive next week. You can capture an image with DISM. There's an entry for that task in the Help documentation. However, in that case, it's best to use a third-party backup program
